**Obituary for Charles Thomas Sanders**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Thomas Sanders, a beloved father, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. Charles passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9th, 2026, at the age of 61, in Bulloch County, Georgia. Born on September 29th, 1964, in Statesboro, GA, Charles lived a life dedicated to his family, his work, and his community.

Charles leaves behind his cherished sons, Nathan and Noah Sanders, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving sister-in-law Rebecca Sanders, devoted niece Nancy Sanders and her partner Jason Pierce, and caring nephew Ricky Earl Sanders Jr., his wife Chelsea, and their three children, Barrett, Emory, and Evelynne. Charles's family brought him immense joy and pride, and he will be deeply missed by them all.

Preceding Charles in death were his father,Thomas Sanders, his mother, Ella Maria Sanders, his brother, Ricky Sanders Sr., and his sister, Sharon Sanders. He is now reunited with them in eternal peace.

Charles was a dedicated truck driver for Wall Timber, a job he performed with great diligence and pride. His colleagues knew him as a hardworking and reliable presence, always ready with a friendly smile and a helping hand. He enjoyed nature, especially taking walks on the family farm.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Charles's life will be held at Emit Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesboro, GA, on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.

Charles Thomas Sanders will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his community. Though his journey has come to an end, the love and joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him will live on forever.
