I met Charlie 40 years ago when I started my career at the Postal Service. He was responsible for training new employees. There was so much to learn in a short amount of time, but with his caring attitude and the way he dealt with people he made it much easier. I was his mail carrier for a short time in the 2000´s. Then we reconnected a couple of years ago as fellow pickleballers!! What a treat it was to know Charlie!!!

Dad. As I child I got to play basketball with you, fish with you and go to the UK games together and so much laughter. Through the years we became friends and shared deep conversations and thoughts. You helped me at different times when I needed you. I love the stories of when you and mom got married and moved to Germany and all of the beautiful countries you got to visit while you were stationed there. Though we had our ups and downs we always had each other. I´m so glad I was there when you needed me the most. I miss mom and now I´m missing you. Mom didn´t have long to wait on you. May you and mom be dancing again and seeing the most amazing sight there are.
Peace and love,
Your baby girl and best friend,
Elizabeth
