Charles Spiller Obituary
Charles H. Spiller, 85, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024. Loving husband of Valerie for 66 years, cherished father of Dean Spiller, Dale (Renee) Spiller, Donna Carver and John (Amy) Spiller, adored grandfather of Michael Sandoval, Nicholas Sotlar, Daniel (Heather) Spiller, Emilee (Robert) Spiller, Jonathan Spiller, Jasmine Spiller, Justin Spiller, Jennifer (David) Frey, Kimberly Pak, Mark Carver, Marissa Carver, Jenna Spiller, Jordan Spiller and beloved great grandfather of Nevaeh, Olivia, Elijah, Sophia, Aryanna, Grayson, Evelyn, Kendrick Jr., Kayden, Azurra, Alexander, Elizabeth, Violet, Michael Jr. and Anthony.
Charlie was preceded in death by his son Duane Spiller, parents Cecil and Ruth Spiller and brother Glen Spiller.
Charlie proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years working as an imagery interpreter. He later went on to work for Pinkerton Security. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, darts, fishing and baseball. He adored his pets and loved feeding the local wildlife.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Tuesday November 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm with memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Charlie's memory to the Dayton Area Alzheimer's Association.
