Charles Ray Stroud of Hiawassee, Ga passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025 at the age of 59. He was born May 17, 1966 to Rose Marie and the late Ray Stroud in Young Harris. Charlie was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church. He worked for the county road department for 20 years, and he was a dedicated hard worker despite being a little hard headed. He loved all things outdoors from camping to playing horseshoes with his family. He was a true family man who loved his kids and grandkids dearly.
Charlie is preceded in death by his father Ray Stroud. He is survived by his son and daughter- in-law, Caleb and Deanna Stroud; former significant other, Laura Carroll; mother, Rose Marie Stroud; his sister, Tonya Shields; grandkids, Anthony, Killian and Dovie Stroud.
Visitation: Friday, August 15, 2025 from 1:00-2:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.
