I remember one Christmas you put all your presents for your kids and grandkids in your car and we zoomed around the city and left them on their porches. We used to have fun, Chuck, and I miss chatting with you every single day.

I, along with the rest of the writers' critique group, were shocked to hear of Charles' passing. We were under his guidance and will miss his generosity and brilliant input dearly. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family. Chuck had just finished a book that was incredibly important to him. He had been working on it for a long time and it delved into his family history. The working title was "Shantyboat." We hope that someone can retrieve his files and publish the book on his behalf as it meant so very much to him. If you need more details or help to make that happen, please feel free to contact me at victoriawinifred.com

With heartfelt sympathy,
Victoria Winifred.

Chuck and I have been friends for years. I´ve bought his YA books and given them as presents to family members and I was eagerly waiting the release of his new adult novel. I only found out because he stopped posting on social media promoting his books and we chatted often.
He was a good man and I shall miss him very much.
