Charles Harvey “Chuck” Sutton, 55, of Farmington passed away January 17, 2026. He was born July 23, 1970, to the late Ronald and Annette (Harvey) Sutton. Chuck lived in Eldon, MO for many years and worked most of his life as a painter until his retirement from International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. He loved to grill and cook for those around him, finding joy in sharing good food and good company. A die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, he rarely missed a game and proudly supported his team through every season. He had a passion for woodworking, taking pride in creating things with his hands, and he treasured the companionship of his six beloved cats, who were a constant source of comfort and joy. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping at K Bridge, where he made many meaningful memories.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Samantha (Halbrook) Sutton; and one brother, Joseph Todd Sutton.
Chuck is survived by his brother, Brett Sutton; nieces and nephews, Cole Sutton (Lexi), Kayla Dennison (Joey), Kaitlyn Knoll (Eric), Michael Knoll, Joey Knoll, Carter Sutton, Sydney Sutton; cousins, David Sitzes (Lori), Wyatt Sitzes, Ben Sitzes, Janice Sitzes, Charles Sitzes (LinDis), Terry Grindstaff (Paul), Tamee Walker, Laura Van Rensburg, Julia Bird; uncle, Larry Kennedy; sister-in-law, Christa Sutton; and best friend, David Doss (Valerie).
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Rev. Rocky Good officiating. Interment will follow at Layne Cemetery in Park Hills, MO. Memorial donations may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles, MO.
