Frank X Cantello

Liz and I stayed at the Inn each year for most of the last 50 years. It was more like visiting family than staying at a B&B which was what Old Wharf Inn was in the 60's. Charlie became a friend whom we looked forward to seeing each summer. In the later years we enjoyed playing dominoes with he and Joan. As we all got older, we started staying more weeks as we knew that this was a very special thing that wouldn't last forever. Fortunately, we got to spend many wonderful weeks with Charlie before he passed. We think of him often and miss him so very much.

We are Sylvie & Réal from Montreal, Canada. We met Charlie 20 years ago at the cottage. Charlie was like a father for me. Every summer me & Réal enjoy is company. Réal helping the more he can in our vacation (we went 3 times a year for 1 or 2 weeks at the time). After covid we were not able to go. We went only 1 times. We called him but its not like be with him. We are grateful to cross his path! We will always love you Charlie. Our condoleances to all the family.

All the Brennans loved our summer time spent on Cape Cod, and we always had great family get-togethers, lobster and clam bakes and days spent playing with our Tobin cousins! Uncle Charlie was always there with his smile and laughs and his great sense of humor. We will miss him.
