Charles L. Vilardi, 80, of Peckville, PA, died Monday, May 19, 2025 at home under the care of hospice.
Born September 18, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Philip and Josephine Galluzzo Vilardi.
Charlie was a talented auto body repairman having worked in New York and Pennsylvania prior to his retirement. He was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR and due to his long-time illness, he enjoyed being at home sipping on Dunkin iced coffee's while using his iPad.
The family thanks the staff at DaVita Dialysis in Eynon for their kind and compassionate care to Charlie over the past six years. He loved you all so much.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 41 years: Eileen Vilardi; five children: Edith Vilardi, Diane Dewitt, Joyce Piccolino, Charles Vilardi, Jr. and Kieran Burke; nine grandchildren: Stefanie, Kevin, Kaylee, Diane, Julia, Gina, Neva, Glenn and Jasmine; three great-grandchildren: Elysia, Johnny and Jace; a sister: Theresa Pollio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Ava Piccolino; and a brother: Philip Vilardi, Jr.
Friends called Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
