Charles Edward Vilmer MD

Charles E. Vilmer, M.D., 95, of Polo, MO passed away May 11, 2012. Memorial service will be 2:30pm Thursday May 17, 2012 at Funeral Home, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nora Vilmer, sisters Marie Krusic and Perva Hughes, brother Lyndon Goodwin and granddaughter Suzanne Allen. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years Judy Vilmer of the home, children Stephen E. Vilmer(Gayle) of Overland Park, KS, Anne Graham(Larry) of Overland Park, KS, Jacki Breen(Pat) of Kansas City, MO, Teresa Oxford of Kansas City, MO, and Chris Harmon of South Beach, FL. Six grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Charles served in the United States Army in WW II. He was a Surgeon and physician in the Kansas City, Missouri and North Kansas City area. In lieu of flowers make donations to Caldwell County Historical Society, P.O Box 32, Kingston, Missouri or Polo United Methodist Church, in Polo MO.
