Charles Waggoner Obituary
A proud graduate of Carthage High School, Charles went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. In 1957, he married the love of his life, Nell Ray Adams, beginning a partnership that lasted nearly seven decades.
Charles dedicated 35 years of service as a postal carrier. He was a wonderfully great provider for his family. Outside of work, he found joy in gardening, reading, and fishing, simple pleasures that reflected his appreciation for quiet moments and the natural world.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Waggoner; daughter, Brenda Wall; granddaughters, Bonnie Boyanton and Ashley McBride; grandson, Jonathan Miller; brother, Danny Waggoner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Donna Waggoner Miller; and his sisters, Tommy Jean Massey and Frances Crawford.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Natchez Trace Memorial Park.
