Charles Edward Walker Sr., 73, of Washington, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 2nd, 2023.
Charles was born on December 15th, 1949 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to the late Lester and Edna Walker. Charles was raised in Hunterdon County and graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School. Charles married and had four children whom he cherished: Tammy, Charles Jr., Robert, and Raymond. Charles loved spending time with family. It brought him joy being a grandfather and recently becoming a great grandfather. Charles was remarried in 1992 to the late Kathy Ganley-Walker who passed away in 2020. Charles worked for Johanna Foods for 45 years, until retiring in 2014.

Charles will be remembered for many things, but his family will always remember him for the love that he had for each and every one of them. Charles enjoyed spending his time making memories and sharing laughs with his family, many times to the point where they could get him to laugh so hard he'd cry. Charles was also a giving man and often donated to special causes close to his heart such as the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, just to name a couple. Charles was also a collector of various pieces of memorabilia and had a vast collection, to say the least. Charles had many interests that included old Ford trucks, John Deere tractors, country music, and outdoor events.

Charles will be forever missed by his daughter Tammy Bishop and her husband Darin, son Charles Walker Jr. and his wife Alba, son Robert Walker and his wife Sarah, son Raymond Walker and his wife Jennifer, and by his 9 grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Walker, brother Dale Walker Sr. and his wife Patricia, and by many family and friends.

Charles is predeceased by his parents Lester and Edna Walker, his wife Kathy Ganley-Walker, sister Dolores Walker, and by his brother Donald Walker Sr.
