Charles Richard Ward

Charles "Chuck" Richard Ward, age 73, passed away peacefully at home, in his bed, surrounded by his wife, children, and family; after a courageous battle with cancer.

Chuck was a man of rare character; steadfast, hardworking, and deeply devoted to the people he loved. As a skilled construction consultant and mentor, he owned and operated his own business, dedicating his life to building not only citrus plants and whiskey distilleries, but a future for his family. His work was his pride, and his reputation was unmatched. Everyone who met Chuck admired him; whether as a trusted professional, a loyal friend, or a father figure whose guidance and presence left a lasting impression.

Work and family were inseparable in Chuck's life. He centered his world around providing for and working alongside those he loved, building his business with his wife and son by his side. Everything he built was done with purpose: to support his family, to give them stability, and to leave behind something meaningful. His legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication will be proudly carried on by his loved ones he worked alongside with.

Chuck was the proud father of four children. From his first marriage, he had three daughters: Marcy Blake (Brian Blake), Dania Vetten (Brandon Vetten), and Sarah Tull (Kenny Tull). Later, he met the love of his life, Cora, with whom he shared over 35 years of deep love, partnership, and devotion. Together, they welcomed a son, Blake Ward (Clara Ward). Their marriage was a true love story; one built on respect, shared work, laughter, and unwavering

commitment to one another.

Chuck was also a loving grandfather to Tylor Vetten (Sydney Vetten), Meagan Blake, and Jase Tull, and a proud great-grandfather to Addie and Wyatt Vetten. He cherished his family deeply, and his presence lives on through each generation as it continues to grow.

Those who knew Chuck often felt drawn to him instantly. He had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and valued. His strength, generosity, and steady presence will be missed beyond words.

A Celebration of Life honoring Chuck's remarkable life will be held on February 22, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. Details will be shared with family and friends.

Chuck Ward leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, loyalty, and family; one that will continue to stand strong, just like the man himself.
