Charles was born on June 24, 1930 and passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Charles was a resident of Texas. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict, receiving the Bronze Star with Valor. Family and friends will gather for a time of reflection and celebration of life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Wildwood Freewill Baptist Church, 23025 Ford Rd., Porter, Texas. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. with Services starting at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Welch Cemetery, near Henderson, Texas at 3:30 p.m. the same day under the direction of Carter Conley Funeral Home.
