Charles Kenneth "Ken" Westall, 85, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025.

"Ken" to most, "Dad" to two, and "Gramps" to four. A man of many titles earthside, now resting in his heavenly title of "Good and Faithful Servant".

Ken was born in Penrose, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Wells Westall and Mae Rogers Westall; his in-laws, Drewery Jefferson Bridges, Hilda West Bridges, and Joseph Grant Bridges; and his 4-legged best friend, Chipper. He was also preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by an Angel twin granddaughter, Sawyer Mae Westall, who never breathed breath on earth but is rejoicing with him now.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice Bridges Westall; two children, Natasha Crow (David) and Ross Westall (Kassie); brother-in-law, Jeff Bridges (Marsha), and four grandchildren; Grayson Crow, Parker Crow, Finley Westall, and Drew Westall; and his newest 4-legged friend, Lilly.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, Ken changed the trajectory of his family for generations to come. His life reflected the character of Jesus and the power of the gospel. Through his humble battle with pulmonary fibrosis, he used every broken moment to share the goodness of God with everyone he encountered.

Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After the Air Force, he worked at the NASA Satellite Tracking Station in Rosman, NC. He continued his career as an Engineering and Quality Technician in several manufacturing settings. He then completed his career at Accurate Technology Corporation, where he retired at the age of 80. If you knew Ken, you knew his family was his greatest joy. You could often find him tending to his yard where he cultivated a space to make memories with the people he loved. From sledding in the snow, to picking flowers, to running through sprinklers, and jumping in leaf piles, Ken made every small detail throughout the year one to remember. When he wasn't outside, he was studying the Word of God. Ken was an inquisitive man, always seeking to know more of the character of God. He committed each night to read the Word with his bride. That's the kind of man he was, committed first to the Great Commission, then his bride, his family, and his friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
