Hello Debbie and Family:
My deepest condolences to you all. I only met Charlie a few times, but I remember visiting with Debbie and Charlie at the house on Lake Michigan when we had our AAUW meetings there, and also sitting in that lower level sharing lunch after Debbie's car accident. You have been a good friend to me, Debbie. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Love, Barb

I first met Charlie at a duplicate bridge game in Holland five years ago. We played as partners a few times and as opponents many times. He was always a lot of fun. I will miss him. Condolences to his family.

Debbie, Mark, Kurt, and Celia - I was saddened to hear about Chuck's passing. I have so many memories of him - at the house on Damen way back in the day (when we used to walk to Reilly's Trick Shop) to the house in Michigan (when we used to walk "miles" to get candy every day). New Year's Eve celebrations, ski trips, and beach days - all with Chuck. I remember him waking us up all the time as he came into the kids' bedroom to get something early in the morning, and i remember being in the car with him stuck in the ditch in northern Wisconsin waiting for a rescue. I have had some health challenges over the last several years, and no longer take my wonderful childhood for granted. Some of my best memories were with you all - I hope that this message finds you all well, albeit with loss. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like - I have been in Colorado since '97 - my email is: [email protected]. My best to you all - i'll be thinking of you....
