Charles James Williams Sr., age 67 known to close friends and family as “Punchie," passed away at his residence in Lakewood, Ohio, on February 19, 2025.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Williams, sister Gloria Jackson, Grandmother Pearlie Sanders, aunts Karen Elane Sanders, Idella Sanders, uncles Nathaniel Williams, Alexander Robinson and his chosen son Cornell White.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Julia Williams, wife for life, Valeria Denise Williams, two sons Charles Williams Jr, Christopher Williams, chosen daughter Lamika Phillips, brothers Daniel Williams, Dwayne Williams, Ennis Patterson Williams, sisters Pamela Williams, Dorthey Covin and Renee Bricen Williams, uncles Willie Williams, Orange Williams, Johnny Williams, aunts, Annette Williams, Debbie Sanders, Evelyn Davis, and host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. until time of Homegoing Service at 2 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111.
