Charles Wroble Obituary

Charles Wroble

December 6, 1944 - May 15, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles "Chuck" Frank Wroble Jr., a beloved father, brother, son and friend. Born on December 6, 1944, to Charles (Bus) F. Wroble Sr. and Marjorie (Roberts) Wroble, Chuck's journey began in the golden sunshine of California before his family relocated to Anaconda, Montana.

Chuck grew up in Anaconda, where he attended school but soon discovered that his true passion lay beyond the classroom. He chose to embark on a working life that allowed him to enjoy every moment, often accompanied by his lifelong best friend, Rick Johnson. Racing was his favorite pastime growing up, and he played an integral role in establishing what is now the Anaconda Raceway.

In 1967, Chuck married Linda Ingraham, and together they moved to the Bitterroot Valley, where they raised three children: Nick, Chris, and Jana. Although Chuck and Linda divorced in the early 1980s, they maintained a friendship throughout the years.

Chuck's career took him on the road as an over-the-road truck driver, where he met Kristina Maydole, whom he later married. He was blessed with a stepson, Levi. Following a back injury that ended his trucking days, Chuck found his true calling in opening Chuck's Welding, a business he cherished working on alongside his son Chris. Chuck and Kristina's love for horses and horse racing also led him to a lifelong friendship with Renee Abbe.

Chuck shared special bonds with each of his children, imparting lessons in welding, fishing, hunting, and baseball. A memorable hunting trip in 1984 with Chris highlighted their relationship, marking cherished moments that will forever remain in their hearts.

Chuck has spent the last 11 years with Sheila by his side visiting friends and family, traveling and on side by side adventures enjoying the retirement life.

In a surprising turn of events in 2022, Chuck discovered he had a daughter, Jennifer, that he did not know about. Embracing this newfound relationship he had formed a loving bond with Jennifer and her family. He often expressed how blessed he felt to have them in his life.

Chuck was a man who believed with a strong family, a good sense and lots of hard work one can accomplish anything your heart desires. His spirit, generosity, and love for family will be deeply missed. He leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Rest in peace, Chuck.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles (Bus) Wroble, Marge Billquest; sister, Janice Baker; wife, Kristina Maydole Wroble; granddaughter, Valorie Wroble; and great grandson, Rylan McNeil. Chuck is survived by his life partner, Sheila Guerdette; his children, Nick Wroble, Jennifer (John) Griffin, Chris (Sherry) Wroble, Jana (Rob) Roe; step-son, Levi (Dawn) Maydole; honorary son, Jim Boyer; his grandchildren, Brandon Dean, Laurie (Davy) Collins, Philip (Jolene) Wroble, Jade (Tillman) Hess, Bradie (James) Norberry, Tristan Maydole, Samantha (McKenna) Larson-Maydole, Elizabeth (Joey) McNeil and Alex (Kaliah) Wroble; great-grandchildren, Julian, Ashten, Athena, Taylor, Colson and Hannah.
