Charles Edward "Chip" Zawacki III, 64, of Stoutsville passed away surrounded by his family on May 17, 2025. He was born in Marysville, Ohio on March 25, 1961 to the late Charles "Chuck" Edward, II and Martha Faye (Casey) Zawacki. He graduated from high school from Culver Military Academy in 1979 and later on, he earned an associates degree in business from Bliss Business college.
He began working after high school at Owens Illinois, Nekoosa Packaging, Georgia Pacific, Mead Container, Smurfit Stone, US Corrugated, Rock Tenn, West Rock, and finally at Pratt Industries as a Technical Sales Representative.
He enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, camping, taking care of the farm and animals. Taking his family on hayrides, gator rides, tractor rides. Chip built many additions to the house. He was an avid OSU football fan, and enjoyed family gatherings around the campfire and spending time with his family. He was very dedicated to his family and faith, and a member of New Life Church in Circleville, he was currently serving as a board member, and in the hospitality ministry.
Chip is survived by his wife of 42 years, Phyllis (Young) Zawacki; children, Joshua (Chasity) Zawacki, Shoreview, MN; Holly (Jon) Bell, Yukon, OK; Chad (Cassie) Zawacki, Lexington, TN: grandchildren, Lucas, Evelyn, Calvin Zawacki; Kaiden, Maddie, Trent Bell; Elizabeth, Natalie Zawacki; sister, Judilynn (Joe) Niedercorn, McLean, VA; brother, Jess (Kristin) Zawacki, Huntsville, AL.
The family would like to thank Fairhope Hospice and the Pickering House for their kind care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 24 at Taylor Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St, Amanda. The family will receive friends from 11-1pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairhope Hospice and Pickering House.
