It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charley Forgey Driskill, who left this world on February 12, 2026, at the age of 68. Charley was born on March 6, 1957, in Berwick, Louisiana, where he lived his entire life and became a beloved member of the community.
Charley dedicated his life to his vocation as a pastor, where he touched the hearts of many with his compassion and unwavering faith. His passion for music was a significant part of his life, bringing joy to him and those around him. Charley also had a profound love for travel, seeking to experience the beauty of the world and the diversity of its cultures.
Charley is survived by his two daughters, Kaylynn Driskill and husband Jahcobi Ward and Jamie Driskill, as well as his sisters, Paula Willis and husband Alvin Willis and Gretchen Bliss. He will also be missed by his seven grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by family, friends, and all who knew him.
Charley was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Floris Driskill.
The funeral service will be held at Twin City Gospel Church on February 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation at the same location from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the service, Charley will be cremated, allowing for a celebration of life that reflects the deep connections he made with those he loved.
