Charley Lee London Jr., age 96, passed from this life at home on October 24, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1929, in Colgate, Oklahoma to Charles Sr. and Ina London.
Charley was a loving father and grandfather, and a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Korean War and was a member of the VFW. For many years Charley worked at Riverside Furniture before retirement. He was a regular at Joyce's Diner in Mansfield, Arkansas. In his free time, he enjoyed watching squirrels and birds at his feeders, as well as hunting and fishing.
Charley is survived by his daughter Joyce (James) Reppond of Booneville, Arkansas, his three sons, Frankie London of Huntington, Arkansas, Terry (Lesia) London of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Archie (Sherelle) London of Mansfield, Arkansas, two sisters, Ruby Mae Brown of Wichita, Kansas and Shirley Hacker of Andover, Kansas, as well as 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary London, and his daughter, Linda Newman.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Mansfield, Arkansas with Bro. Jackie James officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
The family would like to offer their thanks to the nurses and aids of Heart of Hospice.
