Charlie Dunn Alston

Charlie Dunn Alston and I were College roommates at Atlantic Christian College in Wilson NC now Barton College, when we were right out of high school. We lived together for 2 years before going our separate ways in the working years. We keep in touch with each other and our other roommate, Carrol Jarvis, who had an auto and took us to dinner most night when meals were $.75 or $1.00. We would sometimes meet at our favorite dinner, Parker´s Barbecue Lodge. We would also go to Greenville occasionally to meet and dine with Jarvis. We stayed in. touch as the years went by, just as we always did. I still talked with Charlie when he told me, he would not be around very long. We loved him were sorry to see him go.
