Charlie John Beaston III, known affectionately by friends
and family as Chuck, passed away on December 22, 2023, in
Tulsa, OK, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on
August 31, 1955, in
Amarillo, TX, Chuck's zest for life and
infectious laughter left a lasting impression on everyone
he met.
Chuck's legacy is carried on by his loving mother, Janet
Beaston; his devoted brother, Gary Beaston and family; his
three children, Matthew "Butch" Beaston and family,
Lindsey Landers and family, and Charlie John "CJ" Beaston
IV and family; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles who
will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his
father, Charlie John Beaston Jr.
Retiring from American Airlines, Chuck cherished the
friendships he made throughout his career and remained
actively involved with his colleagues. His passion for life
extended to his hobbies; he was an golfer, a fisherman, an
enthusiastic OU football fan, and a talented drummer who
spent younger years playing in a band.
Chuck's sense of humor, spirited nature, and friendly
demeanor made him a beloved figure in his community. He
had a special place in his heart for his dogs, who were his
loyal companions.
As we bid farewell to Chuck, we celebrate a life lived with
joy, a spirit of adventure, and an enduring love for his
family and friends. His memory will continue to inspire and
bring smiles to the faces of those who had the pleasure of
knowing him.
