CW, your passing left a void but yet I rejoice for you that you no longer have to suffer. You have endured many difficult time but always trusting God for everything. Over the years, I have learned much from you. The most important is to trust God to see you through whatever situation you are in and to be grateful for every blessing. I am grateful for the time God allowed you to share with us. Though I wish you were still with us, I accept God's divine will for your life and pray that He will continue to guide us as we grieve your death.

As I prepare for graduation, it does not feel right that you will not be there with the camera. I am having a difficult time getting excited about this but know that you would want me to be happy about my accomplishment, so I celebrate this in memory of you.

I love you CW and thanks for being my Big Brother!!!

Rest in peace with God and Mom and Dad.

Miss you!!

May God give you strength and comfort at this sad time.It has been many years since I have seen Charlie; in fact , I have not seen him since our days at Bethune High School in Halifax , Va. He drove the bus that I rode many years ago . Even then he always demonstrated a gentle and kind spirit. I remember well his display of gentlemanly qualities which in itself is a legacy that he leaves to his family. May God bless each of you.

I was so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I worked with him at James River Correctional Center. Charlie loved talking with people and was a true gentleman. He loved the Lord and he LOVED his girls.
As we walked to our cars in the evening I'd always say "See you tomorrow Charlie" and he'd always reply, "Lord willing."

See you tomorrow Charlie...

May you find comfort in knowing that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of your loss. Charlie worked with me at Saint Paul's College many years ago and it does appear that life is as a vapor and suddenly it is taken away because it seems it was the other day that we laughed, chuckled and enjoyed good times.

May you find strength in a God who is able to sustain you during this time.

Sincerely,

Jeanette W. Mason

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Johnson. He was a sweet, sweet man who loved the Lord. Mr. Johnson and I worked together for many years with James River Correctional Center. I would ask him each morning that I saw him how he was doing and he would tell me that he was too blessed to be stressed. Mr. Johnson loved the Lord and I know he is smiling down on all of us wanting us to know that he made it home. He was a quiet, dignified man who did not want to cause anyone any difficulty. When he had to ask a question, he would always apologize for asking it. The few moments I shared with "Charlie" when he was just discussing life will always be treasured by me. I know in my heart that he will be missed by all who loved
him.
