Charlotte Cobb Baker, 89, of Fluvanna, passed away on December 4, 2025, in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Born June 21, 1936, in Fluvanna County, Charlotte was predeceased by the love of her life Eugene (Gene) J. Baker; her parents Andrew Winn Cobb Sr. and Virginia Herndon Cobb; her brother Andrew Winn Cobb Jr. and his wife Jane; and her nephew Cecil Cobb.
She was raised in Fluvanna County, married, moved to Charlottesville and raised her son. Charlotte was a realtor and broker for more than 38 years, and together she and Gene owned and operated Baker and Baker Realty. They later returned to Fluvanna County, retiring in 2000. She found joy in reconnecting with many friends, collecting dishes and knitting. She lived a life rich with love!She is survived by her son, Andrew L. Frame and his wife, Beth of Charlottesville; her brother, George (Ty) Cobb and his wife Barbara of Fluvanna County; her nephew Jay Cobb and his wife Angelina of Waynesboro; as well as niece-in-law Tanya Cobb and great-nephew Tim Cobb.
A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 8th, at Fork Union Memorial Cemetery, James Madison Highway, with Pastor Anthony Clore of Fork Union Baptist Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, those who would like to remember Charlotte may make donations to Fork Union Baptist Church, 4745 James Madison Hwy, Fork Union, VA 23055.
