Charlotte Mosser Bell, 79, of
Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Hoadly, VA passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Gene Frye. She was born on July 5, 1946, in Hoadly, VA to Frank and Natalle Mosser.
Charlotte was a proud graduate of Gar-field Senior High School, Class of 1964. She retired from the Federal Government. Her commitment to excellence and her personable nature made her a respected colleague.
Above all, the joy of Charlotte's life was her family and friends with whom she spent countless hours creating unforgettable memories. She loved to cook, throw parties, and travel.
Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Frye (Gene) of Fredericksburg and Cindy Russell (John Vernon) of Hartwood; stepsons, Mark Lemen (Roland Hurtado) of Arlington, TX and Brian Lemen (Betty) of Woodbridge; beloved grandchildren, Brian Frye of Spotsylvania, Ashley Howdershelt of King George, Nicole Mitchell (Steve) of Spotsylvania, and Heather Auville of Charlottesville; great-grandchildren, Brycen Frye, Benton Frye, Maverick Frye, Maddox Frye, Kensley Frye, Thomas Fitzgerald III, Willow Frye, Grayson Myers, Jaden Auville, Coby Auville, Jason Auville, Ethan Lemen, and Ella Sofia Lemen; furbaby, Doxey; sister, Betty Seese of Freeport, FL; brother, Wayne Mosser of Spotsylvania; sister-in-law, Cathy Mosser of Woodbridge; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends and caregivers, Marie and Jeff Stone, Tammie and Marty Delgado, and the staff and nurses at Medi Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Natalie Mosser; brothers and their spouses, Lawrence Glass (Mary Sue), George Mosser (Helen), Charles Mosser (Lucy), Bobby Glass (Betty Ann), and Gary Mosser; sisters and their spouses, Mildred Cornwell (Howard) and Nola Papajohn (Harry "Bus"); brother-in-law, Edward Seese; and sister-in-law, Dena Mosser.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Charlotte's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.
A Celebration of Life with fellowship and food will be held following the service from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4391, 5100 Jake McWhirt Lane,
Fredericksburg, VA, 22408.
