Charlotte "Char" Lee Lemberger of Littleton, CO passed peacefully away in her sleep on May 17, 2024. She was 80 years old.
Char was the quintessential Italian Grandma with a vibrant, friendly personality that charmed everyone she met. She started working part time in the early 80s to fund a trip to Italy but stayed beyond that as she came to love her job as a laboratory technician supporting the engineers at Johns Manville. She was loved by her fellow coworkers and made many lifetime friendships through her tenure at Johns Manville. Char was known to be fiercely independent woman who could be seen riding her red Yamaha motorcycle to work only to return home early to raise her kids. Char frequently won gambling jackpots up in the mountains and loved collecting Indian art and jewelry. She was very passionate about family and spoiled her children and grandchildren with her exceptional cooking and gifting talents.
Char is predeceased by her son Todd Lemberger. She asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church or the ALS foundation.
Char is survived by her husband Tony, whom she had been married 61 years, and two sons Tony Jr. and Scott, daughter in-laws Debbie and Ginger, son in-law Craig Herrera, and 5 grown grandchildren Erin, Nick, Katie, Ethan and Ellie, all of whom she absolutely cherished.
Char was loved by everyone she met and was outgoing and fun to be around. She was loved greatly by her family and friends and will always be remembered.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO. 80128.
