Charlotte Aaron Epps Davis, 86, widow of the late Robert Elwood Davis, died Sunday September 21, 2025, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Cat Epps and Grace Chadler Epps Godfrey. She was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church. She served 35 years for SGYA in South Greenville and worked for 13 years at Anderson independent Newspaper.
She is survived by her sons, Robert L. (Sharon) Davis, John J.J. Davis, Travis (Robin) Davis, Shawn (Kristi) Davis, Justin (Ashley) Davis and T.J. (Kady) Burgess. She had 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband, a son Thomas "Tony" Burgess and brother Joe Epps.
Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday September 24, 2025, at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Harlin, Rev. Ryan Steed and Rev. Shan Donald officiating.
Burial following service at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friend Tuesday September 23, 2025, 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Cox Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Commission of the Blind.
