Charlotte Ellen "Pippin" Frazier was born June 30, 1954 in Monroe, Louisiana to Charles Pippin and Marvell Kent Pippin Shrum and passed away October 10, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Charlotte moved to El Reno, Oklahoma while in grade school where she graduated from El Reno High School. She joined First Baptist Church Of El Reno and enjoyed her time serving as a member there. Charlotte attended Oklahoma Baptist University and graduated with a degree in philosophy. She then went to work as a probation and parole officer in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She later got married and moved back to El Reno where she went to work as a social worker for the Department of Human Services while raising three children. Charlotte remarried and moved her family to Chickasha where she continued with adult and family services as a supervisor and field liaison, after 35 years of service within the State of Oklahoma she retired.
Charlotte's hobbies included showing Belgians and Collies for over 30 years, traveling with family and friends including several cruises and several trips to Europe, and spending time at cabins in Arkansas, her home away from home in the Ozark Mountains in Mt. Judea, Arkansas.
Charlotte was a team player, admired leader, and true advocate for her clients and colleagues. Her strength, courage, passion, and humor will never be forgotten. She was the best mother, teacher, friend, helper, and encourager. Her selflessness and loving heart will always be remembered. Memories of her will be cherished forever.
Charlotte is survived by three children, Keli Frazier, Mikel Frazier, Kyle and wife Jessica Frazier, granddaughter Iris Frazier, nephew Mitchel Reimers, aunt Jovita Smith, uncle Jerry Kent and many cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by father Charles L Pippin, mother Marvell Kent Shrum, step-father Leon Shrum, and sisters Sue Reimers and Rhonda Pippin.
A memorial service to honor the life of Charlotte will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
