Charlotte Kroska Obituary
Charlotte Mary Kroska, the daughter of Arthur and Evelyn (Schwartz) Petersen, was born on June 28, 1949, in Alexandria, MN. She grew up in the Columbia Heights where she graduated high school in 1967. Charlotte began working at Electric Machinery in the drafting department for about 10 years. She then worked at NSP for the next 16 years before retiring in 1994. Charlotte moved back to Alexandria to be closer to her parents in 1995 and graduated from Alexandria Technical College for drafting. Charlotte met Lyle Watne, and enjoyed his company for the last 12 years.
She was a fantastic artist who loved animals and walking on the trails around Alexandria. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Charlotte M. Kroska, died on Sunday, January 1, 2023, in her home at Autumn Cottages in Alexandria at the age of 73 years old. She is survived by her siblings, Jeanne (Joel) Andrychowicz of Lino Lakes and Danny (Diane) Petersen of Port Charlotte, FL; five nieces and nephews; two great nephews; and special friend Lyle Watne of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 11 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Alexandria.
