Charlotte "Boots" M. Kummerow
age 95, of Schofield, WI passed away on June 21, 2023. She was born on September 30, 1927 in Schofield, WI, the daughter of Edwin and Bernice Luedtke.
She was a homemaker; a loving wife and mother to her four children. For many years, Boots worked part time at the Maple Leaf Motel in Schofield and in her later years at Kelly Athletic Club in Weston. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, going to rummage sales, watching soap operas, traveling, watching her grandchildren and spending time with family.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey W. Kummerow of Kronenwetter, WI; her daughter Colleen R. (Kummerow) Olson of Glidden, WI; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; her brother Charles Luedtke of Wausau, WI; sister Ruth (Luedtke) Mueller of Sarasota, FL; brother Daniel Luedtke of Fresno, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Walter D. Kummerow Jr.; her son James A. Kummerow; her son Michael D. Kummerow; her brother Robert Luedtke; her brother James Luedtke, her brother Leroy Luedtke; her brother Dale Luedtke; and her sister Lois Luedtke.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 1st at 1:00 pm at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau WI.
