Charlotte Lee Obituary
Charlotte was born on December 31, 1926 to Hugh Kennedy Bullitt and Laura Sherrard Bullitt, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anne Johnson, and her husband, Hugh Lee.
She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville and Master's of Fine Arts degree from The Maryland Institute. Charlotte worked as an art teacher in the Frederick County Public Schools and volunteered in various nursing homes throughout Frederick. She was active in the Delaplaine Arts Center and her church, Good News Presbyterian Church.
Charlotte is survived by her sister, Laura Burgiss, son, Hugh (Nanci), grand children, Tyler, Savannah, Grace (Trae), Dixie (Dylan), and great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Boaz, and Eden. She is additionally survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10-11 am. The Celebration of Life service will commence at 11:00am. A private interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charlotte's name to Good News Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1051 Frederick, MD 21702 or to Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701.
