March 31, 1955 - February 19, 2026
Maxwell, Charlotte Jane, of Northfield passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Meadowview Nursing Home. She was born and raised in Atlantic City and was a graduate of Atlantic City High School Class of '73. Charlotte was a member of the Rainbow Girls. She went on to graduate from Glassboro State College. She is predeceased by her parents Charlotte (nee Bross) and Charles F. Maxwell, Jr. She is survived by numerous cousins.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 27th beginning at 10 am, followed by a service at 11 am at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221. Interment will follow at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.

I got to know Charlotte when my mother, Aquilla was at Meadowview. She was always friendly to my mother and me.as well as many others at Meadowview. A dear soul. R.I.P.

Charlotte befriended my mom at Meadowview early on, checking in on her and helping my mom and my family adjust. Charlotte became part of our family. She met many of my family members and would hang out with us when they visited. She loved ordering out and having a full stocked room that made her feel content. I enjoyed sharing her last few birthdays with her and the holidays between. I will always be grateful for Charlotte looking after my mom until she passed then my visits with Charlotte after. May Charlotte be at peace. My condolences to her cousins and friends.

I am sad to hear of Charlotte´s passing. I have fond memories of her from Kindergarten at Richmond Ave. through Atlantic City High school and as college roommates at Mrs Lisa´s at Glassboro State College. God bless you may you rest in peace.
