Charlotte Ann "Char" Porter, 79, of Baroda passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital.
A celebration of life time of gathering will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph.
Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.

I knew Char and her husband Tom many years ago many years ago when I first met her sister Carol Pritchett and we were teenagers. We had many fun times together when we socialized at their home. Char was always upbeat and a very happy fun-loving person who will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her even for a moment. i hope that she is now sharing her afterlife with her beloved husband Tom and all the others who loved her and who she loved.
