Charolette, a woman whose legacy is woven from unconditional love, deep faith, and shared moments of joy with her family and community.

At the heart of her life was an enduring, beautiful marriage. For almost 53 years, she was blessed to share her journey with the love of her life Jerry, building a partnership that stood as a testament to commitment and devotion. Their relationship was the foundation upon which her family life flourished.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was a place of warmth, built on a foundation of unconditional love that she extended freely to every generation of her family. The countless memories created with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are a vibrant tapestry that will continue to comfort and inspire them. Her family knew the depth of her affection, and she was truly loved by all of them.

Beyond her family roles, she nurtured passions that brought her immense joy: She was an enthusiast of nature, finding peace and adventure while hunting and fishing. These were not just hobbies, but cherished ways to connect with the world around her. She loved to cook, creating meals that gathered loved ones around the table, each dish seasoned with care and affection. Music was integral to her spirit. She had a beautiful voice and loved to share her gift by singing in the church choir and offering special music for services, ministering to others through song. Her spiritual life was the compass that guided her every action. She loved the Lord Jesus deeply and served her church devoutly. Her faith was not just spoken, but lived out daily through her kindness, her service, and the steadfast, loving example she set for everyone she met. Her church family held a special place in her heart, and she was deeply loved by them for her faithful service and warm spirit. Her memory remains a blessing-a guiding light of faith, family devotion, and a life lived with a joyous heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lester Sumner; mother, Joyce Thomason Sumner; brother, James Sumner.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry A. Rhodus of Magnolia, MS; son, James Arthur Rhodus (Linda) of Magnolia, MS; grandchildren, Amber Jade Daniels (Ryan), Hailey Nichole Duncan and Dakota Beaux Rhodus. And a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Laird, Albrey Rimes, Chris Pitre, Robert King, Dakota Duncan and Edward Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Lally, Dalton Rawls, Bruce Rawls, Bert Schenk, Jason Colburn, Al Robison II and Toxie Schmidt.
