Charmaine G. Peterson

Charmaine G. Peterson, 71, of Trenton, New Jersey. She departed her life on February 9, 2026 at Capital Health in Trenton.

Charmaine was educated in the Trenton public school system. She was a graduate of Daylight Twilight School, class of 2000. Charmaine was employed by General Motors of Ewing. She furthered her career at Serve Behavioral Health also of Ewing.

After retirement Charmaine went on doing what she loved, doing the most, raising her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to Parx Casino and shopping. Charmaine was loved by all.

Charmaine was predeceased by her mother Robbie Mae Spears; her father Clinton G. Peterson; an aunt Susie Funchers.

Charmaine's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her four loving daughters Talaya Braxton Peterson, LaQuanda Tate both of Trenton, NJ, La'Nikia Wilburn of Franklinville, NJ and Tatiana Garriques of Trenton, NJ; her son Steven Peterson of Trenton, NJ: her sister Merolene Robinson of Levittown, PA; her niece Marlo Robinson of Levittown, PA; two nephews Callvin Peterson of Trenton, NJ and Ahmad Robinson of Levittown, PA; a-special friend that was dear to her heart Toya West of Princeton, NJ; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sending her sincere love to her Lincoln Homes Family: and a host of cousins, other relatives.

Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
