Chase Lee Galloway, born in Mobile, Alabama on May 13, 1988, passed away on November 25, 2022, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Chase was born to Richard Galloway and Deana Harrison and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. While he struggled with the death of both parents, he had two sets of doting grandparents to see him through into adulthood.

Chase was preceded in death by his Mother, Deana Elaine Harrison; his Father, Richard Lee Galloway; Grandmother, Jimmie Lynn Galloway; Grandfather, Allen Frank Harrison; Beloved Aunt, Ginger Lynn Lashley. He is survived by his wife, Anna Victoria Battle and daughter, Myia Lynn Galloway of Ocean Springs; Grandfather, Harold Lee (Elizabeth) Galloway of Vancleave; Grandmother, Sandra Loretta Harrison of Gautier; Sister, Casie Lauren (Patrick) Duffy of Gautier; several Aunts and Uncles; Many cousins, nieces and nephews including Rebekah, Devon, Julien, and Patrick Jr. (PJ)

He proudly wore Batman or Florida Gator attire almost daily. These were the personal "props" which added to his character, and which were bound to elicit a series of discussions or stories for those meeting Chase for the first time. Chase thoroughly enjoyed having long conversations and telling stories. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, football, cooking, grilling, and just recently got back into golfing.

After graduating from Gautier High School in 2006, he attended Southern Miss before returning home to help his family. He had many jobs while finding himself which included; vehicle mechanics, security, and his favorite was cooking in several restaurants as well as off shore. In the recent years, Chase had hopes of owning his own business in the future.

Chase had a hand, alongside his wife Anna Battle, in creating what he would consider his "greatest accomplishment”: his daughter. Myia Lynn was born in 2019. Anyone who knew Chase from an early age would note that he made some fundamental changes after becoming a father. Myia was his whole heart and the light of his life. Not long after receiving his daughter, Chase found his forever home in the house where his dad grew up.

Throughout his life, Chase Galloway was referred to in many ways. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, and a friend. He would become a husband and a father, and it’s reasonable to say he considered himself a follower of the teachings of Christ. However, it’s highly likely that he would prefer to be remembered as kind, caring, and full of love.

Services will be held Saturday December 10, 2022 and will be open only to friends and family.

Pallbearers will include Devon Harrison, Patrick Duffy, Clarence Battle, Culuante D. Loper, Brandon Fike, Josh Cole, Zavoktron Reddix, and Nick Cooper. Honorary Pallbearers will include Julien Mejia, Lionel Pleasant II, Jeremy Smith, Carl Donaldson, Jimmy Rowster, Michael Gill, Grant Copenhaver, and Dwight (AJ) Watkins, Jr.
