Chase, Joanna L., age 39 of Branchville, NJ passed away Sunday February 11, 2024 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice Fredon Twp., NJ following a long illness. Born in Pompton Plains, NJ she had lived in Bernardsville, NJ, Vernon Twp., NJ and the Kemah Lake Section of Frankford Twp., NJ before moving to Branchville in 2019.
A graduate of the Vernon Township High School class of 2003, she went on to earn her bachelor's degree in English and Anthropology from William Paterson University, and later her master's degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. A Girl Scout in her younger years, she was also a former member of the Cliffwood Lakes Swim team. Joanna was also a member of the Vernon High School Marching band where she enjoyed playing the tuba.
A member of the Sparta Evangelical Free Church, Joanna was a civilian contractor with Picatinny Arsenal, working as a Human Capitol Analyst JPEO AA US ARMY for Booz Allen Hamilton American Military Contracting. Joanna is survived by her beloved husband Brian M. Chase, her sons Kaden M. and Hunter L. Chase and her parents James R. and Jan K. (nee Mays) Kaiser. Also surviving is her brother Dan and his wife Angie Kaiser.
