Chase Murphy Obituary

Chase Allen Murphy, a radiant light whose smile could brighten the darkest day, went to join the angels on November 24, 2025, at just two and a half years old. Though his time on earth was far too brief, Chase's impact on those who knew him was immeasurable and eternal.

From the moment he entered the world, Chase was a spot of pure sunshine. His big, beautiful smile had the remarkable power to light up any room and lift the spirits of everyone around him. Despite facing significant challenges throughout his short life, Chase approached each day with unwavering happiness and joy. He loved to laugh, a sound that brought comfort to his family, and was generous with big kisses for those he held dear.

Though Chase couldn't communicate with words, he had an extraordinary ability to express his love in ways that transcended speech. Everyone who spent time with him could feel the depth of his affection, and he seemed to understand just how precious and cherished he was by his family. His connection with those around him was profound and unmistakable.

Music brought Chase special joy, and his favorite song was "You Are My Sunshine", a fitting tribute to the light he brought into the world. Chase was an enthusiastic fan of cartoons, particularly "Paw Patrol," and he would light up with excitement whenever he heard his namesake character called on screen. He also adored the "Cars" movies, reflecting his own daredevil spirit and love of speed.

Chase enjoyed watching football and WWE with his family, creating precious memories during these shared moments. Wrestling with his Pop-Pop was a particular delight. Through all of life's ups and downs, his beloved bobcat stuffed animal remained faithfully by his side, a constant source of comfort and companionship.

Chase is survived by his devoted parents, Taylor Cochran and Cameron Murphy; his sister, Brooklyn Murphy; his grandparents, April and Jeremy Cochran, Mitchell and Chastity Murphy; his aunts and uncles, Haley and Patrick Murphy, Ashley and Paul Raimer; his great-grandmother, Linda Clouatre; his great-grandparents, David and Deborah Rhodes; his great-great-grandmother, Odean Lunsford; his Pop-Pop, Noe Perez; and many cousins, extended family members, and his prayer warriors.

Though Chase's time with us was short, the love he gave and received was boundless. His courage, his joy, and his radiant smile will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He was, and always will be, his family's sunshine.
