A Funeral service will be held in his honor on December 6, 2025, at 11AM at the Wilson-Orwosky Chapel in Emory, Texas. A Visitation will be held one hour prior, at 10AM December 6, 2025, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel. Interment will follow service at Lone Star Cemetery.
Chase Mathew Walthall, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the tender age of 14 in California. Born on August 17, 2011, in Dallas, Texas to Lisa and Mathew, he brought light and joy wherever he went, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
He was known for his overwhelming positivity and kind-hearted nature. Described as an extravagant, funny and old soul, he had an extraordinary ability to bring people together. His love for conversation made him the life of any gathering, everyone he encountered became a potential friend.
Chase attended Bobby Summers Middle School, where he thrived not only academically but also socially, participating in various sports. His proudest accomplishments included playing football, where he approached each game with enthusiasm, regardless of the outcome. Chase's love for sports was only matched by his passion for video games and riding on his dirt bike.
As a big brother, a role he cherished deeply, Chase took pride in being supportive and caring. He was always there for his siblings and loved them dearly.
Chase is survived by his loving parents, Mathew Walthall, Lisa Martina, and stepfather, Casey; siblings, Kaylee Martina, Adalynn Fitzgerald, Levi Fitzgerald; grandparents, Mary Kay Martina and Russell, Susan Rhodes; aunts and uncles, Brittany Ferguson and Jeff, Russel and Rachel Martina.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Darnell Rhodes, great grandmothers, Jean O’Brien and Linda Maddox.
