Chelsi Cox Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 21, 2012.
Chelsi J. Cox, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Wasilla, Alaska. Chelsi was the daughter of Mark and Joan Cox. She was born in Evanston, Wyoming on January 22, 1987. She graduated from Alaska's Eagle River, Chugiak High School in 2005. While living in Eagle River, she worked at OK Nails and eventually purchased the franchise as owner and manager at the young age of 20. Later she pursued other interests in the restaurant business being employed at Piccolinos and Evangelos in Wasilla. Recently, she moved to Denver, Colorado for her and her son to be closer to family. While there she was employed at TGI Fridays. At a young age Chelsi enjoyed gymnastics, camping and motorcycles. Later she became more involved in family and friends, but mostly dedicated all of her love and devotion to raising her beloved son Kasen Baun. She will always be loved, remembered, and missed by her family and friends. Not only being a very kind and giving person, she was a very beautiful woman in body and spirit. Her highest achievement was bringing her beloved son, Kasen Baun into this world for all of us to love and enjoy. Chelsi, your mother and father love and miss you very much and we thank God for allowing us this short time with you in this life as our loving daughter, mother and sister. We look forward to being with you in the next blessed life and are comforted to know you will always be Kasen's guardian angel. Chelsi is survived by her beloved son Kasen Baun; mother, Joan Wilson Cox of Payson; father, Mark Cox of Springville; sister, Shantel Cox-Worch; brother Anthony Cox; grandparents Ted and Gloria Cox of Springville, Utah and LaMar and May Wilson of Payson, Utah; great grandmother Muriel Cox of St. George, Utah; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary Chapel, 587 S. 100 W. Payson, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
