Cheri Bengsch Obituary
She was born November 30, 1967 the daughter of Barb (Jerry) Nicholson and Michael Mask. Cheri graduated from Platteville High School in 1986. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Bengsch on October 21, 2001. He passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026. Cheri worked for Allen-Bradley for 29 years. She enjoyed her trips back to Platteville to spend time with her family and the vacations over the last several years. She always held a special place in her heart for her nephew and nieces, Josh, Jessica and Caitlynn.
She is survived by her parents, sister Lisa Banfield. Nephew Joshua (Becca) Banfield, Nieces Jessica (Riley) Banfield and Caitlynn Banfield. Great nephew Oliver Banfield and Great niece Evelynn McSherry. Aunts and Uncles, Kathy (Jeff) Richardson, Duane Allen, Bill (Ann) Mask, Kathie (Doug) McPhail, Jane (Bob) Fowler. Father-in-law Donald Bengsch. Also survived by brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other relatives and special friends. Preceded in death by her uncle Bob Mask, aunts Rita Mask and Jill Crawford, Grandparents, Don and Lenice Allen, Norman and Helen Mask, and Robert and Colleen Nicholson. Special cousin Jeffrey McPhail. Her mother-in-law Patricia Bengsch and brother-in-law Donald Bengsch Jr.
Special thanks to sisters-in-law Pam Kowalski and Mary Bengsch, Aurora Home Hospice and Senior Helpers for their care of Cheri.
Private family service will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville.
Melby Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
