Cheri Lynn Hertel

Cheri Lynn Hertel (ne Weinstein), born on August 1, 1955, in New York, New York, passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 69 in Boston, Massachusetts, where she had recently come to live with her daughter and family. Cheri was a cherished acupuncturist who dedicated her career to the well-being of her patients.
Cheri was known for her vibrant personality and generous spirit. A resident of Jupiter, Florida for over 20 years, she often referred to it as her "paradise." An outdoor enthusiast, Cheri enjoyed golfing and playing pickleball under the sun. Her battle with breast cancer for over four years demonstrated her resilience, as she continued to maintain an active lifestyle throughout most of her illness.
Cheri is survived by her loving family: daughter Jaime Hertel Dasque, son-in-law Erik Dasque, granddaughter Marah Dasque, brothers Howard and Evan Weinstein, and sister Eileen Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murray and Sydelle (Sunny) Weinstein.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Jupiter, Florida, where friends and family can gather to honor Cheris memory.
