Cherie Ann Hodge (Moss), age 75, passed away peacefully at home and in her sleep on December 22, 2025. She was born in Tulare, California on January 8, 1950 to Virginia Lee Moss and George Edgar "Doc" Moss. She married James Edward "Ed" Hodge on January 19, 1974. They were blessed with two sons, James Aaron and James "Jim" Robert. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother.

Cherie was a woman of many talents, working as a professional baker, restoring furniture, creating complex quilts, and much more. Cherie loved hunting, fishing, crafting, sewing, baking, farming, spending time with her family, and watching crime dramas. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, wisdom, and love.

Cherie was preceded in death by an unborn child, her parents, brothers Jim and Joe, and sister Karen Magness. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Ed, brother John Moss (Gina), sons Aaron (Megan) and Jim (Jill), Candice Gant Hodge, and seven grandchildren Macaylah (Judah), James, Piper, Hailey, Samantha, Maggie, and Zoey.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at New Life Baptist Church in Willard, MO on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10am, with services to immediately follow at 11am. The church is located at 414 New Melville Road, Willard, MO 65781.
