Cheryl Boyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pitman Funeral Home - Jonesburg Chapel on Feb. 4, 2025.
Cheryl Ann Boyer passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 69. Cheryl was born July 2, 1955 in Caledonia, MO to the late Lindell and Dorothy Schrum nee Mcleod.
She is survived by her daughter, Mindy Jennings of Montgomery City, MO; brother, Timmy Schrum; sister, Pam Sheets; brother-in-law, Steve Holmes; four nieces, Colie Holmes, Latasha (Jeremy) Hoard, Heather Schrum, Kristy (Bernie) Head; two nephews, Derrick Holmes, Jesse (Heather) Holmes; four grandsons, Jace Jennings, Michael Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Devin Skiles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wolford Skiles, son, Kyle Skiles, brother, Mike Schrum.
Cheryl held many different hats in her career from a x-ray tech, nurse, cook, truck driver, she could do it all and was a hard worker. In Cheryl's down time she loved watching crime shows, drinking sweet tea and smoking her cigarettes. She loved her little chui-weenie Suzy. Cheryl never held back from speaking what was on her mind, she would be bluntly honest with you, there was no holding back with what was on her mind, even if it was harsh. But everybody loved her because you always knew where you stood with her, and just because you had a different opinion didn't mean she disliked you for it, but she was going to make sure she had her opinion stated as well. Cheryl was a loving mother, grandma, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
