Cheryl Gene Burch

Cheryl Gene Burch was born on January 11, 1956. She passed away on January 10, 2024. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Cheryl grew up in Clovis, NM, where she was a gymnast at Clovis High School. She enjoyed her days working as a school secretary. Cheryl was a very hard worker who had a passion for cooking and sharing her good food with others. She also loved to share her wonderful canned fruits, jams and vegetables. She couldn't wait until spring each year to work with her flowers and plants. Cheryl loved birthday celebrations for her nieces, great nieces, and nephews. She was always the life of a party with her many friends that loved to gather around her. She treasured the many crosses she had in her home, and she loved to find antiques to fill her cozy home. Cheryl was a loving mother to her daughter, Hollee, and a great supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis foundation. She was genuinely loved by many.
Cheryl is survived by two brothers: Cliff Burch (Patti) and Clay Burch. Two nieces: Robin Sefcik (Matt), and Staci Kaufman (Jon). Great nieces: Hadli, Hollyn, and Emma. Great nephews: Jackson, Greyson, and Clark. She is also survived by special Aunts and Uncles: Jo Henry, Cecil and Barbara Burch, Jack and Debbie Burch, Loma Burch, and Jim and Barbara Riley. Cousins: Randy Henry, Danny Henry, Coni Jo Lyman, Debbie Merritt, Vernon Burch, Ritchie Reid, Donice Fennimore, Christi Burch, Terry Burch, Codie McDowell, Leonard Riley, Doug Riley, Debra Gray, Jimmy Craig Riley, Todd Riley, and special friends: Jack and Carla Nuttall. She is preceded in death by her parents; Waylon Don Burch and Betty Mae Burch, her daughter; Hollee Gene Spears, and her brother; Curtis Ray Burch.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
