Cheryl Druzbicki Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Green Country Funeral Home on Mar. 27, 2026.
Cheryl Druzbicki, a woman whose heart was as vast as the Oklahoma sky, passed away in Tahlequah, leaving behind a legacy of boundless compassion and an irrepressible free spirit. Known for her warmth and "open-door" approach to life, Cheryl navigated the world with a rare blend of grace and grit.

As the Director of HIM at Northeastern Health Systems, Cheryl was a respected leader, but her true title was "caregiver to all." Her selflessness was not a duty but a reflex; she was the person who listened without judgment and gave without expectation. Whether she was tending to her family or finding joy in the simple companionship of her loyal dog, Sully, she moved through life with a gentle, nomadic soul that found beauty in every moment.

Cheryl's greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Druzbicki; her sons, Christopher and Presley Copeland; and her three cherished grandchildren, Braeden, Oliver, and Harper, who were the lights of her life. She is also remembered by her siblings Rhonda Crean, Cindy Pinkerton, and Jimmy Talent. Cheryl now joins those who went before her, including her mother, Carol Sue Carter, and her stepfather, Connie Carter.

Cheryl taught those around her that life is not about the destination, but the kindness we scatter along the way. Her laughter and her unwavering support will be deeply missed, but her spirit remains free, forever soaring over the hills of the land she loved.
