Cheryl Eiskamp (née Bambach), 77, of
Bay Village, Ohio, passed away December 7, 2025.
Cheryl was born on May 6, 1948, in
Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Elaine (nee Oldham) Bambach. Cheryl was married to Edward Eiskamp for 56 years. They have two sons, Joshua (Kristen) and Benjamin (Kristi); loving grandmother (Noni) to Kahle, Madelyn, Violet, Drew, and Kylie; sister of Paul (Jill), Karin (Bob) and Dennis (Jan); sister-in-law to John and Patty Eiskamp; and Cheryl always kept involved with her nieces Katie and Loren and nephews Brad, Phil and Parrish.
Cheryl was a graduate of Westlake High School (1966) and Marietta College (1970) with a degree in History and Political Science. While at Marietta she was an active member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. After graduation she worked as a secretary in the college's language department.
For more than 50 years she cherished her role as a "Domestic Goddess" to the family's household. An active member of Westlake Christian Church included serving as Librarian, Historian, Christian Education Superintendent and various committees. She spent numerous hours volunteering in the Bay Village Schools and the Cleveland Public Schools "Hosts" reading program.
When not busy out and about she enjoyed crafting, painting, gardening, walking, traveling, reading and cooking. She and her husband were frequent visitors to Playhouse Square, Severance Hall (Cleveland Orchestra) and the Guardians (Indians) baseball games.
And thanks to her lifelong friend Dianne for always being there during this journey.
