Loss is a part of life, but it doesn't make it any easier. The challenge now isn't to learn to live without Cheryl, but to learn to live with the love she left behind. I never thought that I would be revisiting this site so soon. Another beautiful flower picked from God's garden. Gone in the flesh, but always here in spirit. Cheryl left a footprint in my heart and the hearts of many. She was an amazing person who touched the lives of countless people. She will forever be remembered and cherished. Throughout her illness, Cheryl was very courageous and brave. She fought a good fight. Her faith never waned, no matter how she felt. She kept a positive attitude and a beautiful smile throughout it all. Those who live in our memories are never truly gone. I am thankful and blessed to have so many memories growing up with her, that I will be able to reflect on when I'm missing her the most. I am grateful for the dedicated village of family and friends who cared for her twenty 24/7. She was loved and she knew it. Rest in peace my beautiful cousin.
