Cheryl Meyer Obituary
Funeral services for Cheryl "Cheri" Denise Meyer, 77, will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Rose-Neath from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Bro. Tom Brown.
Cheryl was born on August 12, 1948 in Hope, Arkansas to Eldon Gene Steadman and Wanda Iola Bagley Steadman and passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in Shreveport.
Cheri is preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Wanda Steadman; and son, John Dustin. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Shannon Phillips; son, Larry Meyer II; brother, Rick Steadman; sister, Kayla Viers; grandchildren, Autumn Phillips, Destinee Phillips, Angel Phillips, Faith Phillips, Heaven Phillips, Dustin Meyer, Lexi Meyer; great-grandchildren, Arabella Marquez, Rhaelynn Pruett, Roman Marquez and Sawyer Phillips.
Honoring Cheri as pallbearers will be Shane Ward, Mike Prather, Carlos Marquez, Craig Brown, and Lesley Donnell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Phillips, Autumn Phillips, Destinee Phillips, Angel Phillips, and Faith Phillips.
