Cheryl Lynn Rivera

Cheryl Lynn (Stanford) Rivera, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 23rd, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after enduring her illness with great strength and grace. She was born August 19,1950 in Clarinda IA but called Aurora CO her home for most of her life. She is survived by her loving children, Lisa Rivera and Anthony Lee Rivera; her cherished grandchildren, Amelia Gardner, Abigayle Gardner, and Dylan Rivera; her brother, Doug Stanford (Gerri) and her sisters, Becky (Paschall) Vigil and Polly Paschall and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Leonard Stanford and Betty (Whitney) Paschall, her Grandmother, Christine (Kaska) Stanford and sister Julia (Stanford) Slankard and is now reunited with them in eternal peace. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord. Her strength, selflessness, comfort, guidance, love, and unwavering support will forever be remembered and is her lasting legacy. Mom, we love you. Thank you for everything you've done.
